Working with our staff and current students you will get a taster of working in the music industry
The day will include:
- Interviewing skills – how to interview an artist / band for promotional purposes
- Interview one of LCoM’s current student bands
- Photograph the band using DSLR cameras in our studio space
- Come up with social media posts to promote the band
Working with our staff and current students you will help to record a band and produce a track in a day, as well as taking part in a Mac Lab workshop.
Working with our staff you will be given the opportunity to mix from a selection of tracks in our mac labs
- An introduction to our mac labs
- Use pro-tools or Logic to mix a track in a day.
Working with our staff and current students you will get an introduction to live DJing
- Work with current student and Professional DJ Debbie Barwick
- Introduction to DJ equipment
- Learn DJ techniques.
