Testimonials

"We used Leeds College of Music as the venue for our inaugural Creative Cities Convention, a brand new platform for producers and broadcasters working in the digital media industry outside London. It was important for us to make a good impression in our first year and the venue was perfect. The team bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and the auditorium was terrifically atmospheric, lighting and set design requirements were executed excellently and all the facilities including the Rooftop Bar and meeting areas were right outside, which enabled ease of networking and suited us really well. We used a great jazz duo provided by the conservatoire and the catering, audiovisual and technical aspects were all great too. We had some very high profile speakers and everyone was impressed. Our conference will travel to a different city each year but I would love to use this venue again, given the chance."
Ruth Pitt, Director, Creative Cities Convention

"We could not have asked for more from the LCoM team. They made all the pre-event planning easy and accommodated all of our requests. The end result was a fantastic event that ran smoothly from start to finish. We were very happy and importantly, our guests were very impressed as well. Thank you."
Alex Makino-Farrell, Event Coordinator, China-Britain Business Council

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything LCoM put into making sure things went smoothly and ensuring that our conference was a success. Everyone loved being in the space, we were all looked after really well, the signage was really clear and the team made things very easy!"
Helen Laws, Head of Industry and Artist Support, One Dance UK

"Leeds College of Music is a great place to host an event, the venue looks smart and modern and the events team were brilliant from start to finish. They were incredibly helpful and quick to respond during the planning stages and on the day the team went out of their way to accommodate us. As a result, the event ran smoothly and our conference was a huge success."
Rachael Shanahan, Account Manager, Field Consulting

“We cannot fault the service provided by the events team at the LCoM who were wonderfully professional and efficient both during the planning stages and the delivery of our event. The venue provided the perfect setting for our awards ceremony and workshops and we very much hope to host our event at the LCoM again in future.”
Daniel Gothard, Awards Coordinator, The Diana Award

“Fantastic support from the LCoM events team – it's the finishing touches that make such a difference on the day! Thank you so much for facilitating a smooth running meeting. We will be back again I'm sure!”
Dr Michelle Kwok-Williams, Consultant in Clinical Oncology and Honorary Senior Lecturer, St James's Institute of Oncology

"The events team were committed from the very start and proved a pleasure to work with at every stage from the initial meeting all the way through to the actual day of the lectures. They went over and above to meet all our needs and made brilliant suggestions from how we could best use The Venue to strategies on marketing the event, this is something we had not experienced previously."
Amber Smith, Director, Leeds Print Festival
