  • Developing skills needed for the music industry

  • Prepare for higher education applications and auditions
Summer Academy Learning Online - In person

Learning in the Digital Space

Summer Academy students will have access to Leeds Conservatoire's virtual learning environment SPACE giving students access to interactive resources and the ability to upload a mixture of videos and recordings.

All lessons will be delivered in person so students can discuss new topics and concepts with their tutors and peers, as well as having individual time to implement new topics into their own practice.

SPACE is used as an additional resource that tutors may use in their lessons.

Course pre-requisites

We recommend that students attending this Summer School pathway have a working knowledge of music theory, and a performance standard on their instrument of grade 6 (or above).

Summer Academy pathways

As well as this performance strand, there is another available Summer Academy pathway in Music Production. Both strands will run on the same dates of Monday 29 July  - Friday 2 August 2024.
