Jordan Hodson is a contemporary vocalist and vocal coach who specialises in connecting and supporting the voice with the whole body through her expertise as a pilates instructor.

First studying Music (Popular) on the vocal pathway at Leeds Conservatoire as an undergraduate in 2012, she has since performed in numerous bands based in Leeds, notably at such events as Live at Leeds and Blue Dot festival alongside critically acclaimed pop artists such as Warpaint and Alt-J. She went on to play many other festivals with her electronic infused original project, Loux, such as Live at Leeds with Dr Martens, Long Division, Timber Festival, and supporting artists such as Jordan Mackampa, Litany, Peakes, Low Island, Half Waif and many more. Receiving recognition from the likes of Huw Stevens, Annie Mac and Mick Hucknall.

Since the pandemic she has focussed more on pedagogy and session work, teaching privately from The Chapel in Meanwood alongside doing backing vocals for various artists. Experience writing backing vocal parts in various styles for artists such as Tallsaint, Polo, Piles of Clothes, Georgia Thursting, Campfires, Olivia Naio, Dear Teeth, Dom Robinson, Calvin Travers and many others.

Jordan's unique approach to vocal coaching is deeply intertwined with the philosophies of pilates. In 2021 she qualified as an official APPI instructor (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute). She is also researching the links between hyper-mobility, pilates and singing, and hopes to use her experience with the disorder to help others with their own journey utilising core support practice to aid their vocal practice.
