Bio

Pavanveer Sagoo is a Warwickshire born actor based in Leeds. In Spring 2022, Sagoo made his professional debut as Sai in Forgotten Fellow at London’s Lion and Unicorn Theatre. In his graduate season, Pavanveer will be performing as Malcolm in Macbeth at Leeds Playhouse and Mr Baldock/Company Ensemble in David Edgar’s RSC adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Further credits in training at Leeds Conservatoire include: Edward Kynaston in Nell Gwynn directed by Amie Burns Walker and Shannon Tay in The Good King a research and development project written by Luke Barnes and directed by Kash Arshad. Pavanveer is an experienced collaborator and henna artist working on numerous projects during his training. In Summer 2022, Sagoo produced and starred in his first series of short films: Confessions in collaboration with Reeka Studios, Leeds. A proud practising Sikh, Pavanveer’s identity as queer, South Asian talent and representing these communities continues to be the driving force towards his success.
