Bio

Jay Davis is from Southampton. Having studied the arts throughout Secondary School, and College, his passion was ignited during a Year 6 production, leading to Conservatoire training. Jay is a versatile actor who prides himself on his ability to jump into all opportunities with equal commitment, exploring character and collaborating with other artists.

Jay is hoping to make us laugh in the opening play of this season undertaking the role of Porter in Shakespeare’s Macbeth, directed by Gitika Butoo. In the new year, Jay can be seen as Ilya, a fiery assistant superintendent in Chris Hannan’s adaptation of Crime and Punishment, directed by Debora Newbold. Jay cannot wait to make his semi professional debut showcasing the skills he has acquired in undergraduate training.
