1. Tour the facilities

We can talk until we’re blue in the face about our world-class facilities here at Leeds College of Music, but that’s not quite the same as seeing them for yourself!

Be sure to check out the demos in our state-of-the-art studios, plus, you’ll see our top-notch rehearsal spaces, Steinway piano suite and multiple mac labs.

Don’t miss our in-house performance space The Venue – which will have a new bar and restaurant facility on site ready for 2017. Grab a tour from 11am!

2. Listen to our student bands

There’s no better way to get a feel for what you can achieve at Leeds College of Music than by listening to some of the amazing artists who study here.

Each pathway will have a lesson demo involving current student musicians, plus there will be music from our student bands in the Café Bar and The Venue throughout the day.

4. Get to know our academic team

Want to know who will be teaching you, or what a typical day of study is like at Leeds College of Music?

Our academic team – including Curriculum Leaders and Lecturers, will answer your questions and help to paint a picture of what it is like on your chosen course.

It’s a good idea to have a look at the module layout of your chosen course before your Open Day, so that you can find out more about any aspect that you’re unsure about. Don’t be shy – just ask!

5. Tour the accommodation

If you’re moving away from home for the first time, it’s vital to get a feel for where you’ll be living, and start to imagine yourself in your new home!

The tours start at 11am and will cover our two partner accommodation sites; including Joseph Stones House - our right-on-campus accommodation.

You can also see One Mill Street, brand new for 2017, which features an on-site gym, lockable bike storage and a landscaped garden. Both sites not only ensure easy access to the Conservatoire, but they’re just a short walk into the heart of Leeds City centre – so you’ll have everything you need, right on your doorstep!
