We can support you with a number of study related issues such as; time management, note-taking, research, planning and structuring your written work. By helping you to break assignments down into smaller tasks, we are able to support students through an assignment by setting short term targets and building motivation.

In a learning support session you will work on a 1 to 1 basis on your written assessments with your learning support tutor, who is a specialist in study skills support.
No, it is your choice whether to attend or not although if your DSA Study Needs Assessment recommends specialist study skills support, it is advisable to attend.
You can attend ‘Assignment Workshops’ which are ‘drop in’ sessions open to all students and a study skills specialist will be there to support you with your written work. The days and times for the Assignment Workshops are widely advertised across the conservatoire and you do not need to make an appointment - just turn up!
