Within the Health and Wellbeing Team, we provide a range of free and confidential services to help with any practical, emotional, or mental health conditions that you might be experiencing, which are impacting upon your studies or student life.

How we can help

We can offer; informal wellbeing advice, exploring a range of topics from healthy eating to homesickness, confidential counselling to help you to explore difficult thoughts and feelings and tailored mental health support if you have any long standing mental health issues.

Is this support available on campus?

The support that we provide will usually be offered within LCoM, but sometimes a referral to an external agency or advice around self-help materials might be more helpful to you. We can work with you to identify what type of support would best meet your needs during your time with us.

Do I have to pay for this service?

The support that we provide is free and confidential to all current LCoM students.

When is this support available?

We are available during normal working hours in term time only, with the exception of wellbeing advice which you can access during holiday periods if needed.
