About the Summer School

Students will work in the conservatoire's industry standard recording studios developing their practical recording and production skills with the aim of producing music in collaboration with students from the performance strand.

This summer school provides an opportunity to meet and work with other like-minded people, with time built in during the evenings for social activities for residential students. Lunch will be provided for all students with additional breakfast and evening meal provision for those on the residential course.

Course pre-requisites

We recommend that students attending this Summer School pathway have a working knowledge of DAW software (E.g Logic Pro X and/or Pro-tools).

Summer Academy pathways

As well as this Music Production strand, there are two other available Summer Academy pathways to choose from in Performance and in Musical Theatre. All three strands will run on the same dates of Monday 3-Thursday 6  August 2020.
