Applying Through Clearing - Next Steps

Use our Clearing Application Form to register your details with us, indicate your course of interest and kick start the Clearing process.
Our Admissions team will send you a Clearing Guide and review your application information. You may then be; invited to submit audition materials or a portfolio, depending on your course, through our online submission system, or be asked to provide further information to support your application.
If you are invited to submit an audition or portfolio, our Admissions team will detail the exact processes involved including; what you need to submit, where you need to submit it, and by what date.
Following your audition or portfolio submission, you may be: offered a place on your chosen course, recommended to a different course our tutors think better matches your skills, or rejected.

Still Waiting For Your Results?

If you don’t yet have your results and are waiting until results day on Thursday 18 August, you can still submit a Clearing Application now and begin the Clearing process.
Indicate on the form, via Question 1, that you don’t yet have your results.
You will still be invited to submit an audition or portfolio, if applicable to your chosen course, but if we would like to offer you a place following this we will not do so until we have received your official exam results on Thursday 18 August.

Courses Available in Clearing

Courses with places available are subject to change at short notice.

We are not accepting applications for BA Acting, BA Actor Musician or BA Musical Theatre courses through Clearing in 2022. Applications for these courses for 2023 entry can be submitted via UCAS from 6 September 2022.

We are also still accepting applications for 2022 entry for our postgraduate courses: MA Dramaturgy, MA/PGDip Music, MA Musical Direction, MA Musical Theatre Company and MA Musical Theatre Creatives .
