Biography

Eleanor graduated from The Arden School of Theatre with a BA(Hons) in Acting and whilst studying, developed an interest in voice, as a result she completed an MA in Professional Voice Practice at Birmingham School of Acting and a voice placement at the MTA. She has also completed a PGCLTHE in Performing Arts at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, enabling her to support her teaching practice with theoretical underpinnings.

Throughout her career she has worked as an Actor, Voice Coach, Educator and Community Facilitator. After completing her MA she continued to deliver workshops nationally in spoken voice and other arts subjects within education, theatres and communities. Her work has always been fostering the principles of voice practise, be that with actors, community members or young people.

Eleanor has worked as an associate director, assistant director and voice coach on a number of performances and community productions at Leeds Playhouse including Wizard of Oz , Searching for The Hearts of Leeds and Dinner 18:55. She is looking forward to joining the creative team on NT Public Acts as a voice coach in the near future.
