Andrew Hickey (GDPLM, CertEd) is an established keyboard player. A graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, Andrew gained a Certificate of Education from City of Manchester College of Education, and teaching experience at Salford University and BBC Education before moving to Leeds Conservatoire.

He is also a member of the MA validation committee at Salford University.

His professional experience ranges from working with Cunard Cruises to extensive session work experience as a keyboard player which has ranged from the Granada television theme music and advertising jingles to live radio broadcasts and recording work with the Liverpool Philharmonic for their new music sessions.

Andrew has also been heavily involved in dance music. Alongside his DJ-partner Jason Herdbeing (winner of Manchester DJ of the Year in 2002) he has written and co-produced various House, Soul and Funk records, three of which have been licensed to Subliminal Records the largest independent dance label in the world.

In 2007 Andrew arranged the keyboard work on the 'Hate That I Love You' remix for Rihanna which was featured on the deluxe edition of her album 'Good Girl Gone Bad', for which he is credited on the sleeve notes. He has also worked remixing other artists including Kiesha Cole and Shakira and has received numerous commissions from the Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi.

Andrew has toured with a number of artists across a range of musical genres, including Russell Watson, Snake Davis, Gerrard Kenny, Freddie Jackson, Alexander O'Neal, Maze,5th Of heaven, Tony Christie.
