As a finalist in the Game Audio Network Guild ‘Composer’s Challenge’, FD graduate Joe Thwaites has been invited to talk at the game developers conference in San Francisco, 9 - 13 March 2010. Joe will speak about the music design process in games, focusing on how to compose ‘on your feet’ whilst addressing important game design dilemmas.
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world’s largest professionals-only game industry event attracting over 17,000 attendees. It is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry.
