Third year BA (Hons) Music Production student, Kate Matthews (pictured), has been using skills gained at the College to engage with the work of Soundpeople promotions, based in Leeds.
Kate has been working with Soundpeople in promoting and running gigs and also helped to stage manage the Soundpeople stage at MoorFest 2009.
Kate is currently working at Soundpeople’s new studio based close to the city centre. Eiger Music Studios is a brand new, high-end rehearsal and recording studio. Eiger offers top of the range equipment, for use both in the studio and rehearsal spaces, and is also available for hire.

Kate studies on the BA (Hons) Music Production degree and performs with the musician Liam Kane. Liam and Kate will perform during next month’s Pop Showcase.
