Performing Ensembles

Our acclaimed groups

All students are eligible to audition for one or more of the Conservatoire's performing ensembles. Our ensembles rehearse weekly, with intensive rehearsal weekends often taken place directly before performances. Highly acclaimed guest conductors and soloists are invited in to coach the students for these ensemble projects.
The Conservatoire runs an annual concerto competition where, through audition, outstanding students are selected to perform as a soloist with any of the Conservatoire's ensembles.
Students may also join any of the Conservatoire's community ensembles (the Community Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia or Choral Society).
