Careers Service for HE students

The Careers Service at Leeds College of Music offers impartial information, advice and guidance to all current undergraduate and post-graduate students and the service is available to students at any time throughout their studies.

The Careers Service also provides careers information and advice to recent Alumni of the college.

Careers information and advice is available:

- On the college’s Intranet (Space)
- At the twice weekly drop-in sessions
- By email or phone
- By appointment – individual career guidance interviews are offered, should you wish to discuss in more detail your career or study plans.

The service provides advice and guidance on planning your future career pathway, seeking employment or choosing appropriate further study and training options.

Practical tips and advice are offered on:

- CV writing and job applications
- Job hunting and seeking local part-time or full-time employment
- Accessing careers and employment information
- Identifying the variety and range of career options open to you
- Identifying and accessing further study and training opportunities.
