M.I.A. - XXXO Produced by Rusko

Leeds College of Music alumnus Rusko (aka Christopher Mercer), who is now based in LA, has co-produced the new MIA album, including the lead single from the album, XXXO (see below). Rusko will perfom with M.I.A. later this year as part of Manchester's Warehouse Project - see event details here. One of the most influential names in bringing dubstep from out of its South London niche into the global scene it is today, Rusko is known for his huge club anthems and thrilling DJ sets. Rusko’s album O.M.G. was released earlier this year on Diplo’s Mad Decent label and includes the single Hold On featuring Amber Coffman. The video for Hold On can be viewed at www.ruskoonfire.com. In recent interviews Rusko has revealed that he is currently working in the studio with Britney Spears on some dubstep tracks for her forthcoming album!
