Live at Leeds at The Venue - The Horn The Hunt

The Horn The Hunt - The Venue, Leeds College of Music, 12pm midday the-horn-the-hunt The Horn The Hunt is Clare Carter and Joseph Osborne. They are a two piece, pop band drawing comparisons to Kate Bush, The Knife, Bjork, Yeasayer and Fever Ray. They began writing and recording songs in a flat in Sandnes, Norway in early 2008. Then they made some more in a room carved into the side of a canyon, in the middle of Spain, and then some more in an old school in Dordrecht, Holland. The result of this work was an album, which was completed in a bedroom studio in Leeds, England, where they are now based. The album was released independently in August 2009 and since then they have been playing this music live, featuring electronic and live instruments, costumes and visuals. www.myspace.com/thehornthehunt On Saturday 1 May over 150 bands will be descending on Leeds to take part in what can only be described as the best day of live music in the land.
