Leeds College of Music student band Tall Like Giants is Ben Barltrop (BA Music Production), Andrew Clapham (BA Music Popular Music Studies) and Jonathan Love (BA Popular Music Studies).
Despite having only a few live appearances under their belt unprecedented hype surrounds Tall Like Giants' unique style of dream pop, that combines synths, reverb drenched vocals, glitched drum patterns and shoegazed guitars. After spending the majority of the year writing they released their debut E.P ‘.0.5.0.6.0.9 – 2.6.0.2.1.0.’ in February 2010. On Saturday 1 May over 150 bands will be descending on Leeds to take part in what can only be described as the best day of live music in the land. Tickets are still available now but with the festival’s sell-out reputation chances are they won’t be for long!
