Live at Leeds at The Venue - Invasion

Invasion - The Venue, Leeds College of Music, 8.30pm Invasion are a stripped down, heavy metal trio from London, whos final line up was secured in 2007.  Their album, 'The Master Alchemist' was recorded and mixed in five days at Toerag Studios with Jaz Shaw producing.  Invasion With gigs all over the UK as well as across Europe, Invasion have been making waves in the press with Kerrang stating ; "These invaders are set to rip our tiny world apart, and we should welcome them with open arms". After hearing the single Conjure War, FHM said; "There's no one in the universe who doesn’t need more psych-metal in their lives, and Invasion are a great way to start. There are solid levels of Satanism in the video, some above average female shrieking and it all conspires to create a great song if you enjoy far-out sounds with an undercurrent of evil. If you don’t, you should." http://www.myspace.com/invasion On Saturday 1 May over 150 bands will be descending on Leeds to take part in what can only be described as the best day of live music in the land. Tickets are still available now but with the festival’s sell-out reputation chances are they won’t be for long! Leeds College of Music is one of the many venues which will be taking part in this massive all-day event. Your Live at Leeds wristband will give you admission to The Venue all day, as well as to all the other venues involved.
