If you missed last night's Unplugged Pop Showcase you can still listen online to the bands who performed at the concert - check out the MySpace links below. The evening featured Bright Young Things winner Rachel Cook, Seth Lakeman-endorsed folk duo Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, authentic sounding blues trio Mojo 57, and Pilla, a duo that have drawn comparisons to Damien Rice’s duets with Lisa Hannigan. Showcasing student talent, 3rd year Popular Music student and bassist for Leeds based band Moody Gowns, Liam Kane got all acoustic on us with his new trio! Mojo 57 Deep South, porch sittin' blues so authentic you’d never guess the band originates from Leeds.
