Leeds College of Music tutor launches debut album at LJF

Leeds College of Music tutor Omar Puente will launch his debut album, From There to Here, during the London Jazz Festival. The launch event will take place at the Jazz Cafe on Tuesday 17 November, 7.30pm. Cuban electric violinist Puente mixes a boundless classical technique with Caribbean heart and soul and fiery jazz-informed improvisation. he has performed with Courtney Pine, Denys Baptiste and Jools Holland.
