Laura-Jayne Hunter works with Young Voices

BA Popular Music Studies graduate Laura-Jayne Hunter has been working with the long running music promotion company, Young Voices, in the run up to Christmas. Young Voices, which is now in its 13th year, aims to promote music to young people through staging some of the largest children's concerts in the world. The company gives pupils of the scheme the opportunity to perform to capacity audiences at some of the UK's top arenas, which this year includes the 02 in London, MEN in Manchester and the Royal Albert Hall. Laura has played a key part in this year's project. She started work initially by singing the tracks on the album sent out by Young Voices to schools, from which the children learn the songs. Throughout December, at the venues listed above, Laura will be performing alongside the children as a member of the Young Voices band. There is also the chance that Laura will be asked to perform with the famous guest singer who will also be making an appearance at the shows!
