Kinch support Alphabeat!
Leeds band Kinch, made up of Leeds College of Music students, Chris Chadwick (BA Jazz) and Matt Ullah (BA Jazz); alongside College alumnus Richard Kelley (ND Music Technology) and bandmate, Peter Wheelden are set to support Scandanavian "sunshine pop" band Alphabeat, at the Cockpit in November.
The band has an ever increasing fan base and was recently named as one of the bands to "watch" in Yorkshire. During the summer, Kinch performed at Leeds and Reading Festivals, and featured on the Radio 1 website. Having secured the support slot for Alphabeat's Leeds date, Kinch can expect to see their profile continue to rise not only regionally, but nationally as well.
Alphabeat who rose to fame in the UK in 2008 with their hit record Fascination, are touring the UK promoting their latest album, The Spell.
The gig will take place at The Cockpit, Leeds on Sunday 1 November, from 8.00pm.
