Charlie Bath -  Daylight (from the album In Between Happy & Me) BA Music Production graduate Charlie Bath releases her debut album - In Between Happy & Me - at the end of this month. Dan McDougall - Neverland Third year BA Popular Music Studies student Dan McDougall is a regular face on the Leeds music scene performing as a solo artist and with a range of bands and singers. His band Kid Cosmic supported OK GO on tour January 2010. www.myspace.com/dougaluk 3. James Thompson - Once Upon A Time James is currently studying on the BA Popular Music Studies degree. James runs the successful 'Mid-Session' at the HiFi Club in Leeds as well as performing with local musicians Charlie Bath, Liam Kane and Kanyose. www.myspace.com/jtmusiclink 4. Jess Johnson & Dave Ingham - I Remember Third year Music Production students Jess Johnson (vocals/guitar) and Dave Ingham (production) present a classic sounding pop song that draws on a range of Jess' influences. www.myspace.com/jessjohnsonmuzic 5. Katriona Gilmore and Jamie Roberts - Hunter Man Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Katriona and guitarist/vocalist Jamie Roberts graduated from the Music Production degree in 2007. Winners of Bright Young Things 2007 and New Roots 2007, Katriona and Jamie have recently been nominated for a 2010 BBC Radio 2 Folk Award. www.myspace.com/gilmoreroberts 6. Kinch - Bad Dreams Leeds band Kinch is Chris Chadwick (BA Jazz) and Matt Ullah (BA Jazz) alongside alumnus Richard Kelley (ND Music Technology) and band mate Peter Wheelden. The band have performed at Reading and Leeds festivals, supported Alphabeat and featured on BBC Radio Leeds, Look North and Radio 1. www.myspace.com/kinchuk 7. Liam Kane Trio - Biding Your Time Moody Gown's bassist Liam Kane (BA Popular Music Studies) joins forces with BA Music Production student Kate Matthews (vocals) and James Thompson (piano). The band performed at the College’s successful Pop Showcase in November 2009 and is currently recording new tracks. www.myspace.com/pillamusic 8. Matt Anderson Quartet - Skye (Recorded Live at Seven Arts) An original composition from this quartet of BA Jazz students, recorded live at Seven Arts, Leeds. The quartet is Matt Anderson (tenor saxophone), Sam Watts (piano), John Marley (bass) and Sam Gardner (drums). www.myspace.com/mattandersonsax 9. Mila Dores and Sendai - Alm do Mar (Beyond the Sea) Mila performs with a number of bands and ensembles in the region including Sendai who you can hear on this track. In 2009 BA Jazz alumna Mila Dores was named winner of the Jazz Yorkshire's 'Futures Scheme'. www.myspace.com/miladores 10. Nicki Allan - Love's A Lonely Traveller BA Pop tutor and Leeds College of Music alumna Nicki Allan is well known on the regional jazz/pop scene, performing with a range of bands and ensembles as well as undertaking solo gigs. Nicki also works as a session musician and songwriter. This track sees Nicki moving towards a folk-based direction. www.myspace.com/nickiallan 11. Pilla - Where Did All The Time Go Drawing comparisons to Nick Drake, José González and Damien Rice’s duets with Lisa Hannigan, alt-folk boy/girl duo Pilla (graduates Dave Rees and Jen Chapman) perform guitar-based music that tugs at the heartstrings. www.myspace.com/pillamusic 12. Rachel Cook - Jigsaw Puzzle-Piecin' ‘Bright Young Things’ 2008 award winning singer/songwriter and her alumni band (Emily Lynn, Jen Armstrong, Ste Anderson & Adam Martin, pictured above) have been described as "upbeat acoustic Northern pop: think Lily Allen meets Newton Faulkner with three part harmony and funky Latin-sounding percussion!" www.myspace.com/rachelcookmusic (Rachel Cook image credit Rob Booker) 13. The EasyBe's - Your Shoes Student/Alumni band The EasyBe’s is FE alumnus Charlie Brown (Vocals) and BA Popular Music Studies students Joe Taylor (Guitar) and Tim Bradshaw (Drums). Transcendental Lift Music Ensemble - Lucid Dream The TLM Ensemble is a member of Northern Bloc Collective - a group of like-minded Leeds College of Music students currently studying on the BA Jazz degree.
