BA Popular Music Studies graduate Tom Hunt has launched a new music concept in the UK, providing original compositions for freestyle dressage. 'Music 4 Dressage' provides riders with an entirely original programme of music that synchronises perfectly with their competition choreography. www.tomhuntmusic.com The Pattern Theory, comprising BA Popular Music graduates Carl Schilde, Lukas Creswell-Rost and James Yates, will tour Europe in May. BTEC ND graduate Kayleigh Stephenson is currently performing in We Will Rock You as part of the ensemble and understudy for the leading female character. www.wewillrockyou.co.uk Alumnus and photographer Danny North has shot the cover for the new Gogol Bordello album out later this year. Newly formed band Tokyo Lost, featuring graduates Tom Hunt and Michael Denny, has featured on several BBC Introducing shows this past month. Following the split of Vagabond in February 2010, FE alumnus Luke Fitton (above) is continuing his work with Xenomania as both songwriter and member of Xenomania’s in-house band. Broohaha – a five piece ‘Alternative Grunge Jazz’ band comprising 2009 BA graduates Chris Burge, Ollie Dover, Joe Marriott, Tim Thomas and George Whalley – was named ‘Single of the Week’ in Organ Magazine. www.myspace.com/broohahauk BA Music alumnus Daniel Keen featured in the BBC2 series, A Band for Britain, conducting the Dinnington Colliery Brass Band.
