Leeds College of Music is committed to openness in relation to both its staff and students and also to the general public and, subject to exemptions, will provide a person with any information they may request.

If the College and/or another public authority already publish the information you request in some form, we will direct you on how to find the information.

If you wish to make a request under the terms of the Act please contact the Personal Assistant to the Directors on 0113 222 3427 or by emailing foi@lcm.ac.uk. Please note that you cannot use a request under Freedom of Information to obtain personal information relating to yourself.

Publication Scheme

Under the terms of the Act, every public authority is required to adopt and maintain a publication scheme setting out how it intends to publish the different classes of information it holds, and whether there is a charge for the information.

Leeds College of Music has adopted from 1 January 2009 the Information Commissioner’s generic model publication scheme developed for public authorities and is committed to publishing the information described in the Information Commissioner’s definition document for higher education institutions.

The College is producing a new guide to information to support the publication scheme which will be available shortly. In the meantime, please see the list of available publications and charges shown in the downloadable version of Leeds College of Music’s Publication Scheme 2003 which is available here.
