Equipment Gifts

About Equipment Gifts

Leeds College of Music welcomes donations of suitable items such as certain musical instruments, sheet music and recordings.  Unwanted instruments can be put to good use through an equipment gift to the College, and can either be allocated to a particular student for the duration of their studies, depending on the instrument and student need, or made available for general student use.  Similarly, good quality sheet music, CDs or music DVDs could help to expand our specialist library’s collections, enabling our students to benefit from a wider selection of music resources.

How we say thank you

Anyone making an equipment donation to the College will be entitled to membership of our Donors Club.  Members will receive a signed certificate and a quarterly newsletter to keep you in touch with the College and its developments, and will be named as a donor in our prospectus and on our website.  Substantial equipment donations will be recognised by an invitation to the annual graduation ceremony, prize winners’ recital, and an annual reception with the Principal and Governors.  You will also be named as a donor on a plaque in the College’s reception area.

How to contact us

If you are interested in making an equipment donation, please contact David Warren, Director of Development, on 0113 2223460 or by e-mail to d.warren@lcm.ac.uk.
