What next?

Many options are open to you as a Leeds College of Music graduate. You can progress to postgraduate study (such as an MA degree or Postgraduate Certificate) either at Leeds College of Music or at another college or university. Many students go on to obtain a PGCE and teach music in a school or as a private teacher.

Several of Britain’s prominent jazz educators and lecturers in Further and Higher Education are former Leeds College of Music students. Others enter the music profession as a member of a band, group or orchestra, as a freelance solo musician or as a session musician. Some have become BBC producers, agents and arts administrators and others have made careers in record and radio production, arranging and composing.
