Dave Walsh

In September 2006 Dave Walsh commenced his teaching post as a drum tutor at Leeds College of Music for both the HE and FE Popular Music and Jazz Courses. Dave now teaches fully on the HE side for both the Jazz BA and Popular Music BA.

In January 2008 Dave took up another teaching post in addition to his role at the College at his former school in Manchester, Chethams School of Music. Dave was the school's very first drum kit student and is now pleased to be able to share the skills he has learned with the school's future drum kit students.

Dave's discography is vast, having worked and been in a number of bands, he has featured on over thirty five discs to date.
Dave has also spent some time during 2010 touring around Europe with singer/songwriter Tom McRae. They completed a long 35 date tour in April 2010 and toured again this autumn across northern Europe.

Dave has also produced online tuition videos which can be viewed via his website or via his YouTube channel. These aim to help drum players and students alike with different techniques, which can then be viewed in practice in Dave's Solos and some gig video footage.
