Bhupinder Singh Chaggar is a tabla player based in Leeds. He is one of the leading disciples of the renowned tabla maestro and Gharanadar of the Benares gharana, Pandit Sharda Sahai Ji.

A graduate of Leeds College of Music and Leeds Metropolitan University, Bhupinder currently teaches on the Music Production programme and is available to jazz students for one-to-one tuition on the tabla.

He conducts regular workshops, master-classes and residencies in the region, and is a regular teacher in schools in and around Leeds.

Bhupinder's other major project is as a partner in a production company called Pinjab. Pinjab have recorded numerous scores for productions including for Phoenix Dance, Derby Playhouse Theatre, Channel 4, Leeds International Film Festival and Samyo. Pinjab currently host a special night in Leeds called Kushboo where the talent of various producers and artists is showcased.
