The Course

Following the London College of Music Popular Music theory syllabus, this course is for those who want to further their theory knowledge or who would like a revision session for the June 2017 Popular theory exam.

The course will include the scales, chords, note values, harmonic progression and musical knowledge associated with the grade 3-5 syllabi.  This course will support the June theory exams but is suitable regardless of exam commitments.


Laura Skyers is a graduate of Leeds College of Music. She is actively involved in education and performance in Yorkshire. As a qualified music teacher, Laura teaches the oboe, cor anglais and flute on a freelance basis for the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra, Sheffield Music Hub, Wakefield Music Hub and on a private basis..
