Postgraduate programmes

You can apply to our postgraduate programmes throughout the year.

You can apply via UCAS Conservatoires or by applying directly to Leeds College of Music – just download and complete the application form (MS Word document).

If you are applying via UCAS Conservatoires, you will need the following codes:

All postgraduate applicants are required to complete an audition/interview. Your audition is your chance to demonstrate your suitability to study at postgraduate level at Leeds College of Music.


  • A good honours degree, with an upper 2nd (2:1) classification or equivalent


  • Professional experience equivalent to a good honours degree (see our APEL process)

  • All suitable applicants are invited for interview and/or audition.

  • All international students must have a British Council English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each part of the test.
