This intensive course is for the improviser ready to take their jazz language to the next level.
Further develop your confidence and creativity with this supportive programme, carefully designed by tutor Rob.
Taught in an ensemble environment, you will study and apply skills in improvisation, jazz phrasing, the importance of chord scale relationships and associated theory, applying II V I harmony, guide tones, solo lines, rhythmic development and rhythm changes.
Although this course is suitable for all instrumentalists (including drums), there is a focus on melodic instruments.
The workshop sessions will provide plenty of opportunities to perform in a relaxed and supportive environment.
