Donal Donnelly


LGSM, GCLCM

Originally from Portrush, Co Antrim in Northern Ireland, Donal graduated from Leeds College of Music in 1995 with a Graduate Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music, studying saxophone with Phil Chapman and Al Wood. 

As a multi-instrumentalist, Donal plays saxophone - including soprano, alto, tenor and baritone-  flute, clarinet and piano.

Since graduating, Donal's career has gone from strength to strength. His performance experience includes entertaining at dances and weddings, playing in big bands, providing back-up to major recording artists and touring in theatre productions across the UK. 

Donal is currently working with The Cat Pack, one of the UK’s leading Rhythm and Blues Orchestras, and is also touring the country with The Rat Pack Show.

Donal is also busy running his own studio – Enfused Records – in which he is writing, arranging, producing and performing his first album Heartfelt, due for release in late 2008.
