How to enrol for Part-time Community Classes 2009/10

You need to enrol in person for all part-time courses held at Leeds College of Music on the following days:

Monday 7 September 2009
9.30am - 8.00pm

Tuesday 8 September 2009
9.30am - 8.00pm

Please note:

There are maximum numbers on all courses and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

You may enrol during the first week of term (Monday 21 September - Thursday 24 September 2009) if places remain on courses after the initial enrolment period. During this week, enrolment will take place between 5.30pm and 8.00pm. After the first week of term, please enquire about available places with the Course Enquiries Team on 0113 222 3416 or the Performance and Community Engagement Department on 0113 222 3414/3418.

Unfortunately, telephone applications cannot be accepted and places may not be reserved.

Fees for all courses must be paid and/or current proof of discount/waiver shown on enrolment.

At enrolment you will be able to discuss course content with Leeds College of Music staff.

Refund of Tuition Fees


If you decide to withdraw from any course, refund of your tuition fee is at the discretion of the College in line with the Performance and Community Engagement Department’s Refund of Tuition Fees Policy. Copies of the Policy will be available at enrolment or on request from the Performance and Community Engagement Department. Refunds will be pro rata and subject to an administration fee.

Closure of Courses

The College reserves the right to cancel a course when the number of students enrolled or attending is too low. In the event of this happening you may be transferred, wherever possible, to another suitable course. When this is not possible your fees will be refunded (pro rata) in line with the Refund of Tuition Fees Policy.

Examinations


Students wishing to take external examinations (including Associated Board, Trinity and Rock School) will be required to pay their own examination fee.

If you do not attend an examination for which you have been entered you may still be liable for payment of the examination fee.

Suport for Students with Disabilities


We welcome applications from people with any kind of disability and are committed to providing specific support for students with disabilities. This support is co-ordinated by the Student Disability Advisor.

The Student Support Unit offers information on available specialist equipment and computer software, access to special exam arrangements, and individual support and guidance.
