Should I enrol on Beginers, Intermediate or Advanced?
If you are not sure which level will be suitable for you to study, you will be able to discuss this with a tutor at enrolment.
You may also wish to use the following as a guideline. Please note that you are not required to take examinations – the grades are a guideline only.
Beginner
(Leading to Grade 1 standard)
These courses are suitable for complete beginners, including those who do not read music.
Intermediate
(Leading to Grade 3 standard)
These courses are suitable for those with 1 to 2 years playing experience and the ability to read music to this level.
