Frequently asked questions.

What time do the Experience Events start and finish?  

BTEC (Further Education): The event runs from 5:00 - 7:00pm, with registration and student performances beginning at 4:30pm

Undergraduate: The event runs from 1:00 - 5:30pm, with registration and student performances beginning at 12:30pm

Postgraduate: The timing of the events vary. Please check the Postgraduate Experience Day page.
 
When will I receive confirmation of my place?

You will immediately receive an email confirmation from us after completing the booking form. If you don't receive an email, contact us at hello@lcm.ac.uk
 
You will also receive an email prior to the Experience Day containing a timetable of events and useful information concerning discounted car parking, catering, how to find us and more.
 
Can you recommend any hotels in the local area?

Our friends at Jurys Inn have rooms available from £65, have a look at their website for further information.

How far away is the centre of town?

Leeds College of Music is located in the heart of the city’s Quarry Hill Cultural Quarter. The centre of town is approximately a five-minute walk away.
 
Do I need to bring an instrument?

No.
 
Do I need to book tours in advance?

No. Once you arrive at registration, student ambassadors will assist you in arranging a campus and accommodation tour.
 
Is there somewhere to eat and drink on site?  

Yes – our CafĂ©:Bar is open all day and serves a variety of great value food.
 
Will I be able to speak to tutors?

Yes – heads of faculty and tutors are on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have.
