Upon graduation of your course at Leeds College of Music, you immediately become a member of the College's Alumni Association. Membership of the association is free.
As of October 2009, the Friends and Alumni Organisation, Connections, formally split into two separate associations; The Friends of Leeds College of Music and the Alumni Association. The Association will now have a dedicated team working for the benefit of all Alumni, which will include the College’s External Relations and Knowledge Transfer Units. View information about the Friends Membership scheme here.
Over the last couple of years the Connected Membership Committee (now Alumni Association) has been working hard to establish the Continuous Professional Development Fund. We now have a scheme in place whereby graduates can apply for up to £150 for short courses, or conferences that will contribute to their professional career within the industry. If you would like to make an application, please contact Rachael Sutcliffe on 0113 222 3407/r.sutcliffe@lcm.ac.uk
Every three months, we produce a newsletter, Connected, which keeps all members up to date with events, College developments, student achievements and alumni updates. If you would like to appear in any of the future editions, drop me an email at the address below. You can download previous newsletters here.
As an alumnus, you are entitled to free reading rights in the College library. Should you wish to upgrade this, the library currently offers alumni limited borrowing rights for an annual charge of £10. You are allowed 6 loans in total: 2 week loan books and 4 week loan sheet music.
If you are a recent graduate and haven’t received your membership pack, please contact Helen Moody on 0113 222 3516 or email h.moody@lcm.ac.uk.
