Tony’s musical career began as one half of pop duo JJ (along with Jan Johnston) when they were signed to Columbia Records in the early 90s. In 1999 he joined Stereophonics on keyboards as a ‘touring member’, and has played with them at some truly huge gigs – including headline slots at many of the UK and Ireland’s most high-profile music festivals such as Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, V Festival, Isle of Wight, T in the Park, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Oxegen.
The band have had phenomenal success both in the UK and abroad, with five No. 1 albums and over 20 Top 20 singles over the course of their career. Tony mentors on the BA Music Business Pathway offering direct insight into the music business helping students understand the trials and tribulations of such a complex industry.
