Tom Sidebottom

BTEC ensemble tutor and FE Enrichment Coordinator

Tom Sidebottom is a BTEC ensemble tutor and the Enrichment Coordinator for the FE Music department at Leeds College of Music. As part of his Enrichment role he regularly organises performance opportunities for the FE Pop & Jazz students at venues across Leeds.

He is a classically trained violinist and has performed many times in different countries around the world, including numerous extensive tours across the US, Canada and China. He also plays viola and bass guitar.

He has been producing original music for over 20 years, he runs his own record label, and his productions have been play-listed on Radio 1. He also produces production/library music, providing works recently for Universal Music.

Tom is an Associate Member of the Institute of Acoustics, having completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control, and is currently studying for a Masters in Audio Acoustics.
