Harriet Lane provides administrative support to the conservatoire’s Short Courses and Summer Schools programme, and the Saturday Music School.
Harriet graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010, with a MusB in Music. She plays the cello, and has studied with James Halsey in London and Simon Turner from the Hallé in Manchester. She is a member of the Airedale Symphony Orchestra. She’s also a keen choral singer, and has sung with Manchester Chamber Choir and the Hallé Choir.
Harriet began her career at the British Council in Manchester, where she worked for three years. During her time in the Customer Management team, she developed a genuine care for customer service excellence, helping her team to improve the service delivered in British Council offices worldwide.
She moved to Yorkshire in September 2013 to take up this exciting and varied role at the conservatoire. She enjoys combining her passion for music and her skills as an administrator with excellent customer service.
Harriet enjoys meeting musicians of all ages and abilities, and is always happy to give advice to any one is looking to develop their musical skills.
