Borrowing

Library Membership

When you become a student at Leeds College of Music you are automatically given borrowing rights. Your Conservatoire ID Card acts as your library card and you will require this to borrow items from the library. You will be responsible for everything you borrow and for any fines that are incurred.

You will also need your ID card if you are visiting another academic library using the SCONUL Access scheme.

External Membership

If you are alumni or a former member of staff you may apply to become an external member of the library and borrow items. See here for external membership information

What is my username and password?

You will be sent a library password by email during your first week at Leeds College of Music. You can use this password to manage your online library account.

The majority of E-Resources can be accessed using your Conservatoire network username and password. Some E-resources will have a separate username and password and this will be available on the relevant Space page. For more information on E-Resource passwords see here
