About our E-Book Collection

We subscribe many E-Books on the Myilibrary E-Book platform which is only available to Leeds College of Music Staff and Students. The collection is available with onsite and offsite access. Download the full list of current titles here.

How do I access E-Books?

Myilibrary Platform

Go straight to the Myilibrary platform, using your Conservatoire username and password (not your library password)

E-Resource page

The collection can be found on the E-Resource page which lists all our e-resources alphabetically by title and by description. You can access a resource by clicking on the title; you may then need to login with your Leeds College of Music username and password.

Browse the Catalogue

All individual electronic books can be found on the library catalogue with direct links to the full text.  For some titles you will see we also have the print version.

Please note that in many cases only one person at a time can look at a particular electronic book.  If you can't access the book, please try again later.

How do I look at an E-Book?

PDF format - you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software.  This is available on all Conservatoire network PCs, including the libraries and will open up automatically when you need to use it.  For all other machines, e.g. your home PC or Macs , you can download the software free from the Adobe website.

For downloading some ebooks, you may need Adobe Digital Editions, also free online.
