Using the library over the Easter period

Library Opening Hours over the Easter period

The Library will be closed on Friday 3rd April and will reopen on Tuesday 7th April according to the vacation opening hours below. If you're away from the Conservatoire, you can still gain access to many E-Resources that the library subscribes to. If you are a SCONUL access member, you may be able to access other HE institutions over the vacation period. Please see below for more information:

Sat & Sun - Closed

If the library is closed you can return all items via the library returns box located on level 2 next to the lift. (During Conservatoire opening hours)

Don't forget to renew your library items

All Library items that are renewed now will renew until after the vacation period. You can renew and check your library loans return dates:

  • online here - If you do not know your library password please email us or go to the library counter.

  • by email -

  • by phone - 0113 222 3458

  • by visitng the library counter

Using online resources

You can still access most of the library E-Resources from the comfort of your home by using your college username and password.

  • Digital music and Film Music - Whether it be classical, jazz, pop or world music, listen to 1000s of sound recordings from streaming sites such as Naxos, Music Online and DesktopDJ.

The majority of E-Resources are also searchable through the library catalogue

Visiting other libraries at home using the SCONUL Access scheme

If you have a SCONUL Access membership you may be able to visit other HE institutions near you over the Easter period. Please see here for more information.
