Megan Dyson - Library Counter Assistant

Megan is a counter assistant in the Library. She is a classically trained violinist who specialises in early music and performs with Leeds Baroque. She gained her MMus Musicology from Leeds University in 2012 and is currently working towards a librarianship qualification at Northumbria University. Originally from Louisiana, USA, Megan enjoys (besides music!) cooking, reading, American football and keeping up with her blog and social media.
 


Kate Lloyd - Library Counter Assistant

Kate studied at Leeds College of Music for five years, achieving a BTEC National diploma in Music Technology with three distinctions and a BA first class honours degree in Music Production.  Kate's principal instrument is the piano and she works as a freelance composer & producer outside of the library.
"It’s lovely working in the library as I can keep up to date with all the latest news and info on the music industry whilst learning and exploring new genres"!
