Library Counter

As soon as you walk into the library, members of staff working at the counter will be available to provide help and advice and service such as:

Library Catalogue Terminals

There are two library catalogue computers located opposite the library counter. These computers can be used to browse and locate items in the library.

Electric Keyboard

An electronic keyboard (headphones must be used) is available for you to play.

Information Technology

Windows PCs

13 Computers are available for you to work on in the library. Here you can check email, work on your latest assignment using word, print and scan or browse the internet. All computers have the latest software including Sibelius.

Further Windows PCs are available in the following locations for use by students:

Room 338 – 30 PC workstations
Room 339 – 18 PC workstations (available when not in use for teaching).


The conservatoire provides a wireless (wifi) network service throughout the building for use by students and staff on their own computers.
